![]() 2010 Acura NSX Prototype Rumor has it that the successor to the Acura / Honda NSX will be a hybrid. Since NSX’s prototype last appearance at Nurburgring last year, it was reported the project was short-lived. But instead the program was taken off the public eye for ‘refinement’. It seems Honda wants to somewhat emulate Toyota’s FT-HS hybrid sports car, so they have added a more environmentally-friendly approach to the NSX. The Acura / Honda NSX will now be powered by valveless throttle 3.5L V6 mated to a hybrid system, instead of a 600-hp 5.5L V10, source says. The car will be heavier with SH-AWD system implemented, and achieving a total 450-hp of dynamic performance. The NSX 2010 debut is scheduled to the moved even later in the year with these changes. 2010 Acura NSX Prototype in Nurburgring ![]()
