![]() 2010 Jaguar XFR The Jaguar XFR is a four door sedan manufactured by Jaguar and set to reach dealers by 2010. The XFR is essentially an updated, improved version of the popular XF sedan, also by Jaguar. The XFR will run alongside inter-company sedans like the XF as mentioned earlier, and the XJ concept that will also be debuted in 2010. Once again, the XFR is basically a slightly bigger, improved version of Jaguar’s XF sedan. The AJ-V8 has been improved from 4.2 to 5.0 liters with an output of 385 hp (287 kW) in the standard version, and 510 hp (380 kW) in the advanced version, along with 461 lb·ft (625 N·m) of torque. The XFR is expected to accelerate from 0-60 mph in around 4.7 seconds to an electrically limited top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h) On January 25, 2009, test driver Paul Gentilozzi drove an XFR concept into the Jaguar record books when the car hit 225 mph (362 km/h) on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The XFR had to have a spoiler set up on it to help the vehicle stay on the ground during the test. ![]()
